FTJ filter cloths for chamber and membrane filter press systems are made for plate dimensions of 250 mm to 2000 mm as double – or overhang filter cloth as single or double layer.
Approximately 40 fabric qualities are available mainly of polypropylene, polyester, polyamide and cotton. Only by the right choice of fabric quality, grammage, air permeability and state of surface you will reach the desired filtration result. Drainage cloths improve drainage effect, benefit blow-drying of filter cake as well as separating of the cake. Drainage cloths also protect upper cloths against mechanical wear.
